Job Summary

Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor / Production Engineer to manage and monitor production operations at our manufacturing facility. The candidate should have hands-on experience in VMC, CNC, or Assembly Line operations, along with strong knowledge of production planning, manpower handling, quality control, and shop floor management.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor daily production activities on the shop floor
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per planned schedules
- Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements
- Monitor VMC/CNC machining or assembly line operations
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, materials, and resources
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality, productivity, and efficiency
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, Purchase, and other departments
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns
- Identify and resolve production-related issues and delays
- Ensure availability of required materials, tools, and components for production
- Maintain daily production, manpower, downtime, and rejection reports
- Monitor rejection, rework, wastage, and production losses
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain discipline and proper housekeeping on the shop floor
- Train, guide, and monitor operators and production workers
- Support process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives

Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Production/Manufacturing
- Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
- Experience in VMC, CNC, or Assembly Line operations is required/preferred

- Knowledge of production planning, machine loading, and manpower allocation
- Experience in reducing rejection, rework, downtime, and material wastage
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement
- Experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
- Experience coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and Purchase teams
