Key Responsibilities Prepare and optimize 2D programs for VMC machines. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T; symbols. Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and machining parameters.

Perform program setting, prove-out, and troubleshooting on VMC machines. Operate VMC machines when required. Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per drawing requirements. Coordinate with production and quality teams for process improvements.

Minimize cycle time and reduce tool wear through program optimization. Maintain machine and tooling records. Follow safety procedures and shop-floor discipline.

Required Skills Valuable knowledge of VMC machine programming.

Experience in 2D programming using software like: Understanding of: G-code & M-code Tool offset setting Fixture setting Cutting speed & feed calculations Knowledge of measuring instruments: Vernier caliper Micrometer Height gauge Dial indicator Ability to work independently on production jobs.
