About the company

Dronify Global Inc, the company behind Grabenord and Wyterra, is growing its food and beverage manufacturing operations in Changodar, Ahmedabad. Our production scope includes fresh cheese, processed dairy and plant-based products, and beverages such as kombucha. Expansion plans include greater automation, fresh cheese and high-protein products production, and beverage scale-up.

Role overview

Lead daily production across two departments: (1) fresh cheese and processed dairy/plant-based products, and (2) beverages, including kombucha. This role combines production planning, shop-floor supervision, process discipline and accurate records. Work closely with management, QA, Stores and Maintenance, with technical mentoring from experienced dairy and food-processing consultants.

Production planning and execution

- Prepare and execute daily and shift-wise plans based on orders, batch sizes, processing times, people, equipment and material readiness.
- Sequence batches, cleaning and changeovers across both departments to meet delivery commitments and prevent cross-contact.
- Follow approved recipes, SOPs and process parameters. Monitor temperature, time, pH/acidity, mixing, cooling, filling and other product-specific controls; escalate deviations promptly.
- Respond to peak production loads, absenteeism, delays and breakdowns. Reallocate work and communicate revised plans while protecting food safety and quality.

Team leadership

- Allocate tasks to skilled operators and unskilled helpers,

check attendance and readiness, explain targets and monitor completion.
- Train workers in SOPs, hygiene, safe equipment operation and recordkeeping. Address performance issues respectfully and maintain effective shift handovers.
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for materials, QA for checks and product disposition, Maintenance for equipment readiness and Dispatch for production commitments.

Food safety and process controls

- Implement production-side GMP/GHP, HACCP controls, applicable FSSAI requirements, CIP, sanitation and line-clearance procedures.
- Maintain batch identification and segregation, including dairy-allergen and vegan-product controls. Protect cold-chain and packaging integrity where applicable.
- Stop and escalate unsafe operations or out-of-specification production. Respect QA holds and approved release procedures; use only authorised rework and process changes.

Daily records and improvement

- Complete batch manufacturing/packing records and daily production reports on time. Record material lots and usage, output, yield, wastage, rework, downtime, manpower and critical process checks.
- Reconcile material consumption and output with Stores, maintain traceability and enter accurate data in Excel or the approved ERP.
- Track output versus plan, yield, losses, downtime and labour productivity. Investigate recurring problems with QA and Maintenance and implement practical corrective actions.
- Support supervised product trials, recipe transfer,

automation and commissioning activities, including UF and beverage scale-up as projects progress.

Candidate requirements

- Degree in Dairy Technology or Food Technology and 2–4 years of food, dairy or beverage production experience. Candidates with 2–3 years and demonstrated shift/team leadership are especially encouraged.
- Practical experience in at least one relevant category: dairy, cheese, processed foods, beverages, fermentation or chilled foods. Prior experience in every category is not required.
- Sound understanding of ingredients, heat treatment, mixing/emulsification, basic fermentation and microbiology, sanitation, storage and process controls.
- Proven ability to supervise workers, prioritise work under production pressure and resolve routine manufacturing problems.
- Accurate batch calculations and documentation; working Excel skills. ERP familiarity is an advantage.
- Clear shop-floor communication, ownership and willingness to learn. Able to work onsite in Changodar under the agreed production schedule.

Preferred experience Cheese/paneer production, kettle processing, fermentation/filling, CIP, semi-automated equipment. ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 exposure, yield improvement and current-product scale-up experience are advantages.
