The Impact you will make.

As our Product Development Coordinator, you will be a part of the Product Development team for new product design & development. This role will support end-to-end product lifecycle management, ensuring coordination, effective cross-functional collaboration, and smooth product launches in alignment with Simpli Home's style, quality, and pricing strategies.

We are looking for a team player with lots of knowledge - preferably with project management experience. Someone who gets excited being organized, loves working methodically and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. Our ideal candidate loves to be on top of things and working with other people.

What you will do

- Develop an understanding of Simpli Home's product style, quality benchmarks, and price positioning.
- Collaborate with the Global Product Development, Sourcing, and Quality Assurance teams to drive seamless new product development (NPD).
- Manage project timelines, task assignments, and milestone tracking using Teams, Asana, to ensure on-time product launches.
- Maintain, update, and monitor the Sample Tracker; create weekly status reports to identify potential bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.




- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product development milestones are met.
- Create, manage, and regularly update product presentations, product briefs, and launch decks for internal stakeholders and executive reviews.
- Conduct online market research in the North American market to assess product feasibility and assist the Senior PD Manager in analyzing target costs.
- Work in close coordination with the Senior PD Manager and Senior PD Director to track product development progress.
- Maintain product documentation and version control via SharePoint and ensure proper archiving of product specification files, testing reports, and certifications.
- Develop and maintain a materials library for fabrics, leather swatches, hardware, metals, and wood color panels.
- Demonstrate experience in collaborating with international teams and managing projects in a global work environment.
- Assist the PD Manager in preparing Product Specifications and Product Information Files.
- Support sample reviews and factory visits (as required) to understand design feasibility and ensure product alignment.
- Provide ongoing support to the product development team and contribute to special projects or process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Does this sound like you?





- 5-7 years of experience in project coordination or product development (furniture experience is a plus, not mandatory).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of CAD reading will be an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proactive collaboration skills are a must.
- Multitasker with an analytical mindset.
- Attention to detail, with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, tight deadlines, and dynamic priorities with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-starter working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Comfortable with work from home setup.
- Willingness to travel to partner factories if required
