We are hiring a Product Development Quality Engineer for one of the leading MNCs in the automotive industry for there R&D; Center.

Location: Pune – Baner

Experience: 6+ Years

Role: Product Development Quality Engineer

You will be part of the Product Management team working on EV, DCT & Hybrid Powertrain products and will be responsible for ensuring product development processes comply with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), ISO 26262, ISO 21434 and other relevant automotive standards.

Key Responsibilities

Define, implement & maintain quality assurance processes for automotive software development

Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262 & ISO 21434

Conduct process assessments, gap analysis & improvement planning

Collaborate with Software, System Engineering & Functional Safety teams

Establish quality metrics, conduct audits & drive continuous improvement

Guide teams on requirements engineering, configuration management, V&V; and change management

Support internal & external ASPICE audits and assessments

Conduct training and provide coaching on ASPICE processes

Participate in peer reviews, code quality evaluations & risk assessments

Ensure robustness and quality of embedded software development





Interface with customers and stakeholders on software quality & compliance requirements

Desired Profile

- 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Process Improvement / Embedded Software Development in the Automotive domain
- Strong knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE)
- Good understanding of ISO 26262 – Functional Safety
- Knowledge of ISO 21434 – Automotive Cybersecurity
- Solid understanding of ASPICE process areas & assessment models
- Experience with V-Model & Agile SDLC
- Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Polarion, DOORS and static analysis tools
- Experience in automotive software audits / assessments
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture & methodologies
- Exposure to MATLAB/Simulink / Model-Based Development (MBD) is an added advantage
- ASPICE Provisional/Competent Assessor certification is a plus
