Role Summary
We invite applications from motivated candidates for the position of Procurement & Material Management Intern to support the procurement, material planning, inventory management, incoming material inspection, and supplier coordination activities for electronic and medical device projects.
The role involves understanding material requirements, sourcing electronic components, coordinating with suppliers, supporting incoming inspection and material acceptance activities, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring timely availability of materials for R&D; and production activities.
Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience with a strong interest in electronics, procurement, quality, and material management are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Check material requirements based on BOM, project requirements, and production plans.
- Procure electronic components and other required materials on time.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations and compare price, quality, availability, and delivery time.
- Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate for competitive pricing and delivery terms.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up for timely delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure the availability of required materials.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Engineering, Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts for material-related requirements.
- Support incoming inspection/QC activities by verifying materials against applicable POs, BOMs, specifications, drawings, datasheets, part numbers, quantities, and acceptance criteria.
- Support preparation and maintenance of procurement and material-related QMS documentation in accordance with applicable ISO 13485 procedures, work instructions, and document control requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.
Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply. Must Need Interest in material management, procurement, purchase, inventory, or electronics-related activities.
Note: MBA, BBA, and candidates with prior work experience are not eligible to apply.

- Basic knowledge of electronic components and their applications.
- Basic understanding of BOM, part numbers, and material specifications.
- Basic knowledge of purchase, procurement, and inventory management.
- Good communication, coordination, and supplier follow-up skills.
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Knowledge of programming languages or technical software will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, organized, willing to learn, and able to work with cross-functional teams.
