Role Description The Procurement Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities to support fragrance development, packaging, and operations for The Mad Nose. This full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, sourcing raw materials and packaging components, and ensuring on-time delivery aligned with production schedules. The role involves managing contracts, negotiating pricing and terms, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
The Procurement
Manager will analyze purchase data and market trends, optimize inventory levels,
and collaborate closely with product, operations, and finance teams. They will also implement procurement policies, monitor compliance, and continuously improve processes to support the brand’s growth and innovation.
Qualifications
- Robust procurement expertise, including experience with sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management in manufacturing, FMCG, or fragrance/beauty industries.
- Skills in supplier evaluation and performance assessment to ensure quality, reliability, and strategic fit.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and contract management to secure favorable terms and mitigate risk.
- Advanced analytical skills for cost analysis, demand forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with capacity to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP or procurement software, and solid MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
