- Handle end-to-end procurement of interior fit-out and construction materials for ongoing projects.
- Receive and review material indents from project/site teams and coordinate procurement accordingly.
- Source materials and identify reliable vendors, manufacturers and suppliers.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors and prepare Comparative Statements (CS).
- Negotiate prices, credit terms, delivery schedules, transportation and other commercial terms with vendors.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QS/Billing, Design and Accounts teams for material requirements.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) after obtaining necessary approvals.
- Track orders from PO issuance through dispatch and delivery to site.
- Maintain and update material trackers, procurement schedules and pending order reports.
- Ensure procurement is aligned with project timelines and long-lead items are identified and ordered in advance.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and resolve issues related to shortages, damages, quality and delays.
- Verify material specifications, quantities and approved brands before placing orders.
- Coordinate with site teams for material receipt and documentation.
- Maintain vendor records, quotations, POs, invoices, delivery challans and other procurement documentation.
- Develop and maintain a solid vendor and supplier network for project requirements.
- Evaluate vendors based on pricing, quality, reliability, lead time and service.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and identify alternate materials/vendors wherever appropriate without compromising project requirements.
- Coordinate with Accounts for vendor invoices, payment status and reconciliation wherever required.
- Ensure procurement activities follow company SOPs and approval processes.
- Prepare regular procurement status reports for management.
- Prepare Procurement Schedule and trackers on excel or spreadsheet
