Procurement Manager

Educational Qualification

- Graduate in Food Technology – Preferred
- Any Graduate / Post-Graduate candidates may also apply.
- Candidates with relevant procurement experience and industry knowledge will be preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Procurement / Purchase Department.
- Experience in Food Processing, Dry Fruits, FMCG, or related industries will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities as per business requirements.
- Identify and coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers for sourcing of materials.
- Obtain and compare quotations, prices, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best combination of price, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain proper procurement documentation.
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding material requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor/supplier network.
- Monitor market prices, availability, and procurement trends.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, reliability, and timely delivery.




- Maintain proper records of procurement, vendor quotations, purchase orders, and supplier communication.
- Support the Procurement Manager in cost optimization and strategic sourcing.

Industry Preference

Candidates with experience in the following industries will be preferred:

- Food Processing Industry
- Dry Fruit / Cashew Industry
- FMCG Industry
- Agro / Food Commodity Procurement

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of procurement and purchase processes.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of supplier sourcing and price comparison.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with Excel and procurement-related documentation.
- Valuable analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of food commodities, raw materials, and supplier markets will be an advantage.

Additional Requirements

- Immediate Joiners will be highly preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to travel for vendor visits, supplier meetings, market visits, and procurement-related requirements.
- Candidates with strong vendor networks and market knowledge will have an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,604.56 per month
