Role & responsibilities

- New Part Development as per Customer Print.
- Well knowledge in engineering drawing.
- Good knowledge in CNC machining process.
- Project management for current part development meeting the customer requirement.
- Preparation and release of Tooling list and fixture drawing for New parts
- Process planning for new parts.
- Well knowledge in tools and fixture design.
- CAD/CAM NC program generation for new parts For 3axis & 5 Axis milling
- Hands on skill in Turning and milling machines
- Deciding equipment for inspecting the parts
- Co-ordinate with vendor management team for outsource machining
- Co-ordinate with vendor management team for surface Treatment and Heat treatment
- Conducting sub-assemblies and assemblies




- Co-ordinate for conducting First Article inspection and getting approved from Customer
- Co-ordinate for new process establishment and qualification to customer at supplier end as well as in house.
- Problem Solving during part development
- Transfer of parts developed to Manufacturing team and ensure the smooth processing
- QMS, safety & 5S compliance.

Process Planner Must have experience with NX CAM (Also called Simens NX / UG NX / Unigraphics NX)
