Position: Process Development Chemist – Ethanolamines / Specialty Chemicals

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Experience: 3–8 years in chemical synthesis/process development

Qualification: M.Sc. Chemistry / B.Tech Chemical Engineering / relevant chemistry or chemical-process qualification

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and optimize chemical synthesis processes for ethanolamines and specialty chemicals.
- Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments and support scale-up to production.
- Optimize reaction conditions, yield, selectivity and product quality.
- Work with reactors, purification and distillation processes.
- Investigate process deviations and troubleshoot production batches.
- Develop and maintain process parameters, SOPs and batch manufacturing documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, QC and R&D; teams.




- Support new product development and process improvement.
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals and compliance with applicable EHS requirements.

Preferred Experience:

- Ethanolamines / amine chemistry
- Organic or industrial chemical synthesis
- Batch reactor operations
- Distillation and purification
- Process scale-up
- Specialty chemicals
- Process troubleshooting
- Analytical techniques and interpretation

Important: Candidates with solid chemical synthesis/process-development experience in related specialty chemicals will also be considered, even if they do not have direct triethanolamine manufacturing experience.
