Role Description The Principal Interior Designer is a full time, on-site role located in Hyderabad. This position leads the design vision for residential projects, guiding concept development, space planning, and interior layouts from initial client brief through final execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients to understand their needs, preparing design presentations, supervising detailed drawings, and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E; in line with project budgets and timelines.

Designer collaborates with design teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is accurately implemented on site, while maintaining Aniwell Interiors’ standards for quality and timely delivery.



This role also mentors junior designers, oversees design reviews, and contributes to continuous improvement of design processes and studio practices.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically coherent residential environments.

- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to review, coordinate, and clarify technical details with project teams.

- Proficiency in FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with vendors and installers.

- Experience leading design projects end-to-end, including client management, design presentations, and on-site coordination.

- Advanced skills in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) and familiarity with digital visualization tools.

- Strong project management capabilities, including time management, budgeting, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and guide multidisciplinary design teams.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; significant professional experience in residential interiors is highly preferred.
