The Principal will be responsible for providing solid academic, administrative, and strategic leadership to the school while ensuring the effective implementation of the Cambridge International curriculum and standards. The role requires an experienced educational leader who can drive academic excellence, develop faculty capabilities, maintain high standards of student welfare and discipline, and build a positive, progressive school culture.

The Principal will serve as the key link between the School Management, academic teams, teachers, students, and parents, ensuring that the school's vision and objectives are effectively translated into day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Leadership

- Lead and oversee the implementation of the Cambridge curriculum across relevant grades and subjects.
- Ensure curriculum planning, lesson delivery, assessment, and academic practices align with Cambridge standards.
- Monitor academic performance through regular reviews, assessments, observations, and data analysis.
- Establish and maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
- Encourage cutting-edge, student-centred, inquiry-based, and internationally benchmarked teaching practices.
- Oversee academic calendars, examination schedules, internal assessments, and Cambridge-related academic requirements.
- Work closely with Coordinators and Heads of Departments to ensure curriculum consistency and quality.

1. Faculty Management & Development

- Lead the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and development of teaching and academic staff.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify training and professional development requirements for teachers.
- Establish clear performance expectations and review faculty performance periodically.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional development among staff.
- Mentor and guide teachers and academic leaders to improve teaching outcomes.

1. School Administration

- Oversee the smooth day-to-day functioning of the school.
- Ensure effective implementation of school policies, SOPs, academic procedures, and administrative systems.
- Coordinate with Administration, HR, Finance, IT, Transport, and other support functions.
- Ensure appropriate utilisation and maintenance of school infrastructure and resources.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline,



and overall staff compliance.
- Ensure timely submission and maintenance of academic and administrative reports.

1. Student Development & Welfare

- Ensure a safe, inclusive, disciplined, and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student behaviour, attendance, academic progress, and overall wellbeing.
- Promote holistic development through academics, sports, arts, leadership, and co-curricular activities.
- Address student concerns and disciplinary matters fairly and effectively.
- Encourage student participation in competitions, Cambridge programmes, projects, and extracurricular activities.

1. Parent & Community Engagement

- Build strong and professional relationships with parents and guardians.
- Address parent concerns and ensure timely and appropriate communication.
- Conduct parent meetings, orientation programmes, academic interactions, and school events.
- Represent the school professionally in the wider community.
- Support initiatives that strengthen the school's reputation and parent engagement.

1. Cambridge Board Compliance

- Ensure the school maintains compliance with applicable Cambridge International requirements and standards.
- Coordinate with relevant Cambridge representatives and authorities when required.
- Stay updated with changes in Cambridge curriculum, assessment frameworks, policies, and academic requirements.
- Ensure teachers are appropriately prepared to deliver Cambridge programmes.
- Oversee documentation and processes related to Cambridge examinations and assessments.

1. Strategic Leadership

- Translate the School Management's vision into measurable academic and operational goals.
- Develop and implement annual academic and institutional improvement plans.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to academics, admissions, staff performance, student outcomes, and parent satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective and developmental measures.
- Support school growth, admissions, retention,



and overall institutional development.
- Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education or a relevant subject; B.Ed. / M.Ed. preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge International curriculum and assessment framework.
- Proven experience in a Principal / Vice Principal / Head of School / Academic Head role.
- Experience in a Cambridge or other international curriculum school will be highly preferred.
- Strong academic leadership and school administration experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of teacher development, student assessment, and school operations.
- Ability to lead diverse teams and work effectively with management, teachers, students, and parents.

Experience 5+ years of relevant experience, including significant experience in a senior academic leadership position.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a visionary, academically strong, and hands-on school leader who understands international education standards and can effectively balance academic excellence, student development, faculty performance, school operations, and stakeholder expectations. Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
