Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic and caring Pre-Primary Teacher who can create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment for young children. The candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent classroom management abilities and a good understanding of early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct age-appropriate, activity-based and play-based learning experiences.
- Create a protected, positive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Develop children's language, communication, social, emotional, cognitive and motor skills.
- Use creative teaching methods, stories, rhymes, music, art, activities and hands-on learning.
- Prepare lesson plans and maintain appropriate academic and classroom records.
- Observe and monitor children's development and learning progress.
- Provide individual attention and support according to children's learning needs.
- Maintain effective classroom discipline using positive and child-friendly approaches.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding children's progress and development.
- Participate in school events, activities, celebrations and co-curricular programmes.
- Work collaboratively with coordinators and other teachers.
- Follow school policies, safety procedures and child-protection practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized and child-friendly classroom environment.

Essential Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University – Mandatory.
- NTT / D.El.Ed.



/ Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) / Pre-Primary Teacher Education – Preferred.
- Candidates with relevant qualifications as prescribed under applicable NCTE / government norms will be preferred.
- Relevant experience in Pre-Primary / Early Years teaching – Preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Mandatory.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent command over age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Creative and engaging approach towards teaching young children.
- Patient, caring, energetic and child-friendly personality.
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents and colleagues.
- Good observation and documentation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to use digital teaching tools.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pre-Primary / Early Years teaching is preferred.
- Experience in a CBSE / reputed school will be an advantage.
