Job Summary The PPC Executive is responsible for production planning, scheduling, material coordination, production monitoring, and delivery control. The role involves coordinating with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery of customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Convert customer requirements into production plans and shop-floor schedules.
- Prepare and monitor production schedules according to machine capacity, manpower, material availability, and priority.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.
- Check raw-material and component availability before releasing production plans.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) at different stages of production.
- Follow up on production progress against planned quantities and schedules.
- Identify production delays, bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and material shortages.
- Take corrective action and escalate critical issues to the concerned department.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports, plan-vs-actual reports, WIP reports, and pending-order reports.
- Monitor customer order status and ensure production is aligned with committed delivery dates.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of raw materials, bought-out components, and consumables.




- Coordinate with Tool Room for availability of dies, moulds, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and other tooling required for production.
- Coordinate with Quality for inspection clearance and resolution of quality-related production holds.
- Plan machine loading and optimize available machine capacity.
- Monitor production capacity and identify overloading or under-utilization of machines.
- Maintain proper production planning records and ERP/MRP system data.
- Ensure proper prioritization of urgent and critical customer orders.
- Track rejection, rework, downtime, and production losses affecting the production plan.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: Typically 1-2 years in PPC/Production Planning in a manufacturing workplace.
- Working knowledge of production planning and shop-floor operations.
- Good understanding of machining/manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of BOM, routing, capacity planning, MRP, inventory, and WIP control.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

Preferred Experience Experience in automotive/component manufacturing, precision machining, sheet-metal, fabrication, tooling, or other discrete manufacturing environments will be an advantage.

The candidate should have strong shop-floor coordination skills and be comfortable working closely with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
