Role Description The Podcast Editor will work full time on-site in Hyderabad, collaborating closely with the creative and production teams to craft high-quality audio content related to weddings, storytelling, and brand narratives. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw audio recordings, cleaning and enhancing sound quality, arranging episodes for a smooth narrative flow, and integrating music, sound effects, and transitions that align with the studio’s aesthetic.

The role involves coordinating with hosts and stakeholders, managing episode timelines, and ensuring consistent audio standards across all podcast platforms.

Editor will also contribute ideas for show structure, episode themes, and content improvements to strengthen audience engagement and support the studio’s brand voice.

Qualifications

- Strong audio editing skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Audacity, or similar) and familiarity with mixing, mastering, and sound design.
- Ability to structure audio content for clear storytelling, including pacing, transitions, and narrative flow that complements wedding and lifestyle themes.
- Experience with podcast production workflows, from recording coordination and file management to publishing and basic metadata/tagging for podcast platforms.
- Working knowledge of microphones, recording setups, and studio or on-location audio capture, with attention to clarity and minimal background noise.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, creative workplace.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive feedback and align output with brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Prior experience in media, audio production, or content creation for creative or wedding-related industries is an advantage.
- Relevant education in audio engineering, media production, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
