Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and maintain PLC programs for air-conditioning production lines and related automation systems. Daily tasks include configuring and testing control logic, troubleshooting PLC and HMI issues, and optimizing system performance to improve efficiency and safety.

The role involves collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to implement control solutions, support equipment commissioning, and ensure minimal downtime. The PLC Programmer will also document code changes, maintain technical records,



and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Daikin’s quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong PLC programming skills, including experience with major PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA configuration.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems, including sensors, actuators, drives, and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics, P&IDs;, and technical drawings, with basic understanding of industrial electrical standards.
- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis for automation and control issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices for industrial controls, including lockout/tagout and safe machine operation.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and support on-site operations.
- Prior experience in HVAC, air-conditioning manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Andhra Pradesh and support shift or weekend work as needed for critical production requirements.
