About the Role

DrinkPrime is expanding its manufacturing and refurbishment operations through a strategic OEM partner in Bangalore.

A significant proportion of DrinkPrime's device assembly is currently carried out at this OEM facility, and the scope of operations is now being expanded to include refurbishment activities and in-house manufacturing of plastic cabinets through injection moulding.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Plant Operations Manager / OEM Operations Lead who will act as DrinkPrime's dedicated representative at the OEM facility and take end-to-end ownership of operations.

The role will involve overseeing and controlling the entire operational ecosystem at the facilityfrom procurement coordination and supplier management to assembly, refurbishment, injection moulding,

quality, cost and adherence to DrinkPrime's SOPs.

For all practical purposes, the individual will operate as the person responsible for ensuring that the

OEM facility delivers to DrinkPrime's expected standards of quality, cost, delivery and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End OEM Operations Management

Act as the dedicated DrinkPrime representative at the OEM manufacturing facility. Drive and oversee the complete manufacturing and operational activities carried out for DrinkPrime.

Ensure smooth coordination between DrinkPrime and the OEM partner.

Take ownership of day-to-day factory operations related to DrinkPrime products.

Ensure production plans, operational priorities and delivery requirements are effectively executed.

1. Assembly Operations

Oversee the end-to-end assembly of DrinkPrime devices at the OEM facility. Monitor production processes, productivity, quality and adherence to defined standards.

Work closely with the OEM’s production teams to ensure timely execution of manufacturing plans.

Identify and address operational bottlenecks affecting output, quality or delivery.

1. Refurbishment Operations

Establish, manage and continuously improve refurbishment operations at the OEM facility. Ensure efficient processes for receipt, inspection, dismantling, repair, replacement, reassembly and quality validation of refurbished units.

Drive consistency and quality across new assembly and refurbishment operations.

Develop appropriate controls to improve turnaround time, yield and operational efficiency.

1. Injection Moulding & Plastic Components

Oversee the operation and effective utilization of DrinkPrime-owned injection moulding machines installed at the OEM premises. Support the manufacturing of plastic cabinets and other relevant components.





Work closely with technical teams and suppliers on plastic materials, moulding processes and component quality.

Drive improvements in material utilization, process efficiency, component quality and manufacturing costs.

Candidates with exposure to plastics, polymer materials and injection moulding operations will be preferred.

1. Procurement & Supplier Coordination

Coordinate procurement activities related to manufacturing operations. Ensure that approved suppliers, pricing, specifications and commercial terms are adhered to.

Monitor material availability to prevent production disruptions.

Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply, quality and delivery issues.

Ensure OEM operations follow DrinkPrime’s established procurement processes and SOPs.

1. Quality & Process Control

Ensure strict adherence to DrinkPrime’s quality standards and operating procedures. Monitor quality performance across assembly, refurbishment and moulding operations.

Identify recurring quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Establish solid process discipline and operational controls at the facility.

Ensure the OEM consistently meets DrinkPrime’s expectations on product quality and reliability.

1. Cost & Operational Efficiency

Monitor manufacturing and operational costs across the OEM facility. Identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost utilization.

Ensure adherence to agreed supplier costs, commercial terms and payment conditions.

Drive efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, materials and other resources.

Support management with operational inputs for evaluating the long-term viability and scalability of the facility.

1. SOP Compliance & Governance

Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with DrinkPrime’s established SOPs. Implement appropriate review mechanisms and operating controls.

Monitor compliance across procurement, production, quality and refurbishment activities.

Act as the on-ground owner for ensuring operational discipline and consistency.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be an experienced and hands-on manufacturing operations professional capable of independently managing a complex OEM-based operation.

- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering,



Production Engineering, Plastics

Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Tool & Die Making, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Additional qualifications in operations, manufacturing management or business management will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in cost management, budgeting and plant-level financial performance.
- The incumbent will be accountable for the overall performance, efficiency, compliance and profitability of the plant operations, with production being one of several critical responsibilities under the role.
- Relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or factory operations.
- Strong exposure to end-to-end plant or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in assembly operations, production management and shop-floor operations.
- Experience with plastic components, polymers and/or injection moulding would be highly desirable.
- Experience managing operations at a vendor, contract manufacturing or OEM facility would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of production planning, quality systems and process control.
- Understanding of procurement and supplier management.
- Ability to work with SOP-driven and process-oriented organisations.
- Strong problem-solving and operational decision-making capabilities.

Strategic Importance of the Role

This is a strategically important position for DrinkPrime. The OEM facility currently handles a substantial portion of DrinkPrime's device assembly, and its role is expanding to include refurbishment and injection moulding operations.

DrinkPrime intends to closely monitor and strengthen the operational performance of this facility over the coming period. Subject to the success of the relationship and the strategic fit of the operation, there may also be a possibility of DrinkPrime considering the acquisition of the OEM in the future.

The selected candidate will therefore play a critical role in establishing operational control, improving processes, maintaining quality standards and supporting the long-term strategic development of this manufacturing operation.
