Roles and Responsibility of a Plant Head.

· Strategy and development – overall responsibility for manufacturing activities.

· implementing best manufacturing practises to support and improve performance.

· Implement a customer focussed operation culture to ensure delivery of world class service/products.

· Co-ordinating with the team and to provide inputs at early stages of NPD.

· Ensure all Quality standards are adhered to always. Ensuring rejections and COPQ / rework are within permissible limits, at the same time analysing and taking actions to further bring this down.

· Provide a leadership role to the team under control in order to achieve a high performing team focussed on continuous improvements across all manufacturing operations.

· Set objectives for each department and monitor progress and performance.

· Monitor production equipment, maintaining best working conditions, carrying out preventive maintenance activities in a planned and timely manner.





· Proactively work with all departments to ensure best practises and continuous improvements are part of the manufacturing environment.

· Develop and maintain strong relations with customers with regular communications and customer visits.

· Report on manufacturing activities regularly to senior management.

· Should be able to motivate the team and manage performance firmly and fairly, at the same time be open to change.

· Confident negotiator at all levels.

· Good at communication both internal and external.

· Having analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

· Result oriented.

· Should be able to identify and correct places of waste.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
