Position Overview

Tinos Software and Security Solutions LLP is seeking a PHP Laravel Developer to join its software development team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using PHP and Laravel.

The role requires a strong understanding of backend development, database management, API integration, problem-solving, and software development practices. The candidate will work closely with developers, designers, and other team members to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Design and implement efficient, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Write clean, reusable, well-structured, and maintainable code.
- Develop application features based on functional and technical requirements.
- Design and manage database structures and perform database operations.
- Work with MySQL or other relational database management systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and appropriate application security measures.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and technical issues.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality with user interfaces.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks where required.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and development practices.
- Perform application testing, debugging, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain technical documentation related to application development.




- Use Git and version-control practices for source code management.
- Assist with application deployment, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
- Stay updated with the latest PHP, Laravel, web development technologies, and industry best practices.
- Perform other development-related responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.

Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of PHP and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Good understanding of the Laravel framework.
- Knowledge of MVC architecture.
- Experience or understanding of MySQL and database management.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API integration.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Git and version-control systems.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web application security.
- Knowledge of database relationships, queries, migrations, and ORM concepts.
- Understanding of Laravel features such as routing, middleware, controllers, models, migrations, validation, and Eloquent ORM.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing practices.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Laravel REST API development.
- Knowledge of Laravel authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or similar technologies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, and JSON.
- Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, or similar version-control platforms.
- Understanding of deployment and hosting environments.
- Knowledge of Docker or other development/deployment tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and server management is an added advantage.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant technical projects, internships, certifications, or practical development experience may also be considered.

Work Environment This is a full-time, in-person position based at Tinos Software and Security Solutions LLP, Athani, Kakkanad, Ernakulam.

The selected candidate will work closely with the software development team and participate in application development, API integration, database management, testing, debugging, deployment, maintenance, and other project-related activities.
