Role & responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions issued by veterinary doctors.

- Manage day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy.

- Maintain adequate stock of medicines, surgical supplies, consumables, and other pharmacy items.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of stock.

- Maintain proper records of medicine purchases, dispensing, expiry, and returns.

- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per prescribed guidelines.

- Regularly monitor medicine expiry dates and maintain an effective FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) system.

Preferred candidate profile

- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.

- Delhi Registration Mandatory

- 14 years of relevant experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy.

- Prior experience in a hospital pharmacy is mandatory/preferred.

- Veterinary pharmacy experience will be an added advantage.

- Valuable knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, storage requirements, and inventory management.

- Robust attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medicines.
