Role Description The Pharmacist role at WINSMED PHARMACEUTICALS PRIVATE LIMITED is a full-time, on-site position located in Balrampur. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately based on prescriptions, verifying dosages, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards. Daily activities include counseling patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage, while maintaining detailed records of prescriptions and inventory.

The role also involves coordinating with physicians and other healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions, managing stock levels, and monitoring expiry dates to ensure availability of essential medicines.



The Pharmacist is expected to support a secure, organized, and customer-focused pharmacy environment, handling billing and documentation in line with company policies.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and standard treatment guidelines, with the ability to interpret and validate prescriptions accurately.
- Proficiency in maintaining prescription records, managing inventory, and using pharmacy or hospital information systems.
- Effective communication skills for patient counseling, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and providing clear, empathetic guidance.
- Attention to detail, adherence to regulatory and ethical standards, and commitment to medication safety and quality assurance.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm) from a recognized institution; valid state pharmacy registration and license.
- Ability to work on-site in Balrampur, manage a full-time schedule, and handle periods of high patient volume in a professional manner.
- Prior experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is beneficial, along with familiarity with local healthcare practices and regulations.
