We're looking for a People & Culture Associate who loves working with people, thrives on ownership, and enjoys making things run seamlessly behind the scenes. If you're excited by the idea of hiring incredible talent one day and solving operational challenges the next, this role is for you.
What you'll own
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for all hiring at Openhouse from part-time Teacher Partners to full-time team members.
- Manage monthly teacher partner payouts and ensure smooth coordination.
- Support priority and ad-hoc hiring across multiple teams as the company grows.
- Be the first point of contact for employee and Teacher Partner grievances, helping resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Play an active role in the People & Culture team by rolling out new policies, processes and people initiatives.
- Own inventory management at our HQ and keep essential operations on track.
- Coordinate housekeeping and workplace operations to ensure a excellent office environment.
- Collaborate across Finance, Centre Teams, Facilities and Leadership, becoming a key operations partner who keeps the business moving.
This is for you if you
- Have 1-2 years of experience working in HR functions - Recruitment, HR operations or HR policies
- Have explicitly worked in recruitment for at least 1 year
- Are exceptionally organised and love juggling multiple priorities.
- Communicate with empathy while confidently handling people-related situations.
- Naturally take ownership and enjoy solving problems.
- Can thrive in a fast paced setting
