Role: Payroll Accountant (Oracle HCM)

Relevant Experience: 5+ Years in US Payroll Accounting / Multi-State USA Payroll

Work Mode: Work from Office

Shift: 6:00 PM 3:00 AM IST (USA Shift)

Employment Type: Full time with Highbrow Technology Inc

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle US multi-state payroll accounting and support month-end close activities.
- Prepare and review Journal Entries (JEs) and perform detailed GL account reconciliations.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis and investigate discrepancies across GL accounts.
- Manage payroll accounting for complex pay types including Equity, Supplemental Wages, Relocation, and Mobility.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, payroll accounting principles, and public company audit requirements.
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, and other business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and operational optimization within payroll accounting.
- Coordinate with third-party payroll service providers and review their deliverables.




- Maintain and strengthen internal controls related to payroll and financial reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.
- Handle multiple payroll accounting projects and ad hoc assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Review the work of team members and outsourced service providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
