Role: Payments Testing / QA Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Payments Testing / QA Analyst with strong expertise in the Banking and Payments domain. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in payment message validation, transaction processing, API testing, and production log analysis. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, reliability, and compliance of payment applications and systems.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of ISO 15022 (MT Messages)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 20022 (MX Messages)
- Experience in SWIFT Payments
- Hands-on experience with Sarie Payments
- Good understanding of Banking & Payments Domain
- Experience in Logs Verification / Transaction Analysis
- Hands-on experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar
- Understanding of payment processing lifecycle and transaction flows
- Knowledge of defect management and test execution processes

Key Responsibilities

- Validate payment transactions and message formats across various payment systems.
- Perform testing of SWIFT, Sarie, MT, and MX payment message flows.
- Execute functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing for payment applications.




- Conduct API testing and verify request/response payloads.
- Analyze application logs and transaction logs to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders to understand business requirements and test scenarios.
- Report, track, retest, and validate defects through closure.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, payment standards, and quality processes.
- Support UAT activities and production validation when required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Payments projects.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced and collaborative environment.
- Experience with payment hubs, transaction monitoring, or reconciliation processes is an added advantage.
