- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Communication (preferred) or related field; 3-6 years of cloud migration experience and 8 to 16 years of relevant work experience

- Install, configure, administer, and upgrade Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS) R12.2, including the latest EBS Release Update Pack (RUP) level (12.2.15) and supporting technology stack lifecycle activities.
- Own endtoend EBS Applications DBA activities including online patching (adop), opatch, cloning/refresh, environment builds, and release governance across Development, Test, UAT/Training, and Production.
- Administer and engineer Oracle Database high availability and resilience using ASM, RAC, Active Data Guard, and RMAN backup & recovery strategies with measurable RTO/RPO outcomes.
- Implement and operate enterprise monitoring, incident response, and observability using Oracle Enterprise Manager (latest: Oracle Enterprise Manager 24ai Release 1 / 24.1) including alerting, patching recommendations, and capacity trending.
- Lead database operations on engineered systems including Oracle Exadata (onprem and cloud variants), ensuring optimal configuration, patch compliance, and workload performance.
- Drive database migrations and modernization initiatives:

Onprem Oracle Amazon RDS for Oracle (replatform / upgrade / conversion), including design of secure connectivity, encryption, monitoring, and operational runbooks. Manage RDS for Oracle operations including maintenance planning, MultiAZ / HA design, patch windows, parameter governance,



and operational readiness.

Onprem Oracle OCI targets such as Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud, and OCI Compute-based DB deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to best practices.

- Architect and deliver multicloud EBS and database deployments across AWS, OCI, and Azure, including workload assessment, landing zone alignment, network/security patterns, and cost/performance optimization.
- Design and implement Oracle Database@AWS (ODB@AWS) architectures to support Exadata-class workloads in AWS, including: Provisioning and operating Oracle Exadata Database Service and Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata within AWS regions as applicable.
- Supporting workloads that require Oracle RAC/Exadata compatibility while integrating with AWS-native operational tooling and controls.
- Provide technical leadership on performance tuning across both database and application tiers, including:

SQL tuning, indexing strategy, optimizer statistics strategy, wait-event analysis, AWR/ASH-based diagnostics, and remediation planning EBS performance troubleshooting (concurrent processing, forms, web tier, JVM/app tier sizing) and endtoend latency reduction





Capacity planning and proactive performance baselining for peak events and release cycles

- Define and enforce backup, recovery, and DR policies across onprem and cloud platforms, including periodic recovery validation drills and documentation.
- Partner closely with Enterprise/Cloud Architects, Program Managers, Application Architects, and Development/Test teams to deliver project outcomes, resolve escalations, and ensure design-to-operations continuity.
- Provide expert guidance to leadership on capacity planning, scalability engineering, and risk management, including forecasting compute/storage growth and licensing implications.
- Deliver production support, including oncall rotation, RCA ownership, and sustained reduction of recurring incidents via problem management.
- Support performance and reliability needs for performance test teams and application development, including data refreshes, test environment parity, and tuning recommendations.
- Develop/maintain automation using shell scripting, SQL, PL/SQL for operational efficiency (health checks, patch automation, deployment validation, reporting).
- Manage/mentor team members (where applicable), driving technical upskilling, operational discipline, and delivery excellence.
- Create technical assets such as blogs, case studies, reusable runbooks, and reference architectures to accelerate future programs.
- Demonstrate robust stakeholder management skills with clear written and verbal communication, ability to work independently, and comfort operating in a global, diverse, collaborative environment.
