Roles & Responsibilities:

- Clinical Responsibilities: Should take up patients and perform all regular nursing duties including assessment, medication administration, documentation, patient education, admissions/discharges, emergency response, infection control, confidentiality, and patient safety.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise nursing staff, allocate duties, conduct handovers, monitor attendance, mentor staff, ensure adequate staffing, counsel employees, oversee performance, orientation, competency assessment and appraisals.
- Regular updates of all registers, documents, and ensures all nursing protocols to be followed by fellow staffs.
- Quality & NABH: Ensure compliance with NABH standards, audits, documentation, quality indicators and continuous quality improvement.
- Infection Control: Monitor hand hygiene, biomedical waste segregation, isolation precautions and HAI prevention.
- Medication Safety: Supervise medication practices, narcotic control, crash cart readiness and medication error reporting.
- Resource Management: Ensure adequate supplies, equipment functionality,



maintenance and inventory control.
- Training: Conduct bedside teaching, CNEs, orientation and competency validation.
- Administration: Prepare rosters, verify attendance, maintain reports, coordinate with departments and participate in meetings.
- Risk & Emergency: Report incidents, participate in RCA, disaster preparedness and mock drills.
- Skilled Conduct: Maintain ethics, confidentiality, leadership, discipline and teamwork.
- Authority: May supervise staff, allocate manpower, escalate issues and recommend corrective actions through the Nursing Superintendent.
- KPIs: Patient safety, documentation, infection control, medication safety, patient satisfaction, audit compliance, staff competency and attendance.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other duties assigned by the Nursing Superintendent or Hospital Management.
- Working hours will be from 9 to 5 general shift duties and once in while have to do night shifts.
