Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Patient Monitoring: Continuously track infant vital signs, oxygen saturation levels, and neurological functions to detect early signs of distress or deterioration.
- Clinical Procedures: Administer precise medications, manage intravenous (IV) lines, draw blood, and assist with tube or specialized feedings.
- Equipment Operation: Set up, monitor, and adjust advanced neonatal technology, including incubators, ventilators, and phototherapy lights.
- Team-oriented Care: Work closely with neonatologists, pediatric specialists, respiratory therapists, and social workers to build and update individualized care plans.
- Family Support & Education: Guide parents on basic infant care (feeding, swaddling, holding) and offer compassionate emotional support.
- Documentation: Accurately record medical histories, hourly changes, treatments, and infant developmental progress.
