Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NPD Head to lead end-to-end New Product Development activities, from customer requirements and feasibility to successful product launch and production handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end NPD projects from RFQ to SOP.
- Review customer drawings, specifications and conduct product/process feasibility.
- Lead APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC activities.
- Coordinate product development, tooling, fixtures, prototypes and trials.
- Manage NPD timelines, milestones, costing and project status.
- Coordinate with Customer, Design, Tool Room, Production, Quality, Purchase and PPC teams.




- Handle customer technical discussions, approvals and engineering changes (ECN).
- Ensure smooth transition of recent products from development to mass production.
- Drive cost reduction, VA/VE, process improvement and manufacturability.
- Lead and develop the NPD team and ensure timely project completion.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Automotive NPD and APQP/PPAP.
- Good understanding of plastic injection moulding, tooling and assemblies.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
- Strong project management, problem-solving and customer-handling skills.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive customer requirements preferred.
- Experience in OEM/Tier-1 automotive component industry preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
