About The Role WorldWide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) is seeking a highly experienced Lead / Subject Matter Expert (SME) Network Engineer for a remote, long-term contract position. The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader within the Complex Delivery team, guiding the design, implementation, and deployment of advanced network solutions.

This role involves leading large-scale transformational projects, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, and collaborating with global support teams to transition solutions into operational environments. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of demonstrable experience in designing, leading,



and implementing complex network solutions within regulated industries or large enterprise environments. Proven experience as a Lead Engineer on large programs, with the ability to lead technical teams and communicate progress effectively to senior leadership, is essential.

Candidates should have a proactive approach to workload and time management, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to consolidate knowledge from multiple sources into comprehensive end-to-end solutions. Strong communication skills are necessary to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Serve as a subject matter expert in two or more network technologies, with a working knowledge of additional network disciplines used by the organization.
- Lead the scoping, planning, and execution of large transformational network projects, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
- Design, build, and deploy scalable and secure network infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams, providing technical oversight and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with global support teams to facilitate seamless transition of solutions into operational support, ensuring stability and performance.
- Maintain compliance with governance,



change management, and audit requirements across all network activities.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including low-level designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure project success.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies to maintain network security and integrity.
