Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;) Finance Functional Consultant to join our growing ERP consulting team.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in D365 Finance, with hands-on experience in business requirement gathering, solution design, module configuration, testing, implementation, user training, and post-go-live support.

The candidate will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, technical consultants, developers, and project teams to translate business requirements into effective D365 F&O; Finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct requirement workshops, process discussions, demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs.
- Configure and implement D365 Finance based on business requirements.
- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend appropriate D365 F&O; solutions.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), functional specifications, process flows, test cases, and user manuals.
- Work closely with technical consultants and developers on customizations, integrations, reports, and extensions.
- Support data migration activities, data validation, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and execute functional test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, analyze, and resolve functional issues during implementation and production support.
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including design, configuration, testing,



deployment, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Conduct user training and prepare training materials for business users.
- Provide functional support and troubleshooting for D365 Finance-related issues.
- Participate in process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

D365 Finance Functional Expertise Mandatory Strong hands-on experience in one or more of the following D365

Finance areas is required:

- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash & Bank Management
- Fixed Assets
- Financial Dimensions
- Tax Configuration and Management
- Budgeting
- Financial Period and Year-End Closing

- Payment Processing
- Bank Reconciliation
- Chart of Accounts and Financial Structures

Additional D365 F&O; Knowledge Preferred Exposure to the following areas will be an added advantage:

Required Skills

- 48 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Finance Functional.
- Strong hands-on functional knowledge of D365 Finance.
- Experience in D365 F&O; implementation, rollout, upgrade, or production support projects.
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance business processes.
- Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, and UAT.
- Good understanding of ERP implementation methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional D365 F&O; solutions.




- Strong documentation and process-mapping skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work from office.

Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate MB-310
- Other relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
- Power Platform / Power BI certifications are an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA / M.Com / MCA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
