MIS Executive

New York Burrito Company | Mumbai

Current York Burrito Company is a fast-growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand known for fresh, authentic Mexican-inspired cuisine with a 100% vegetarian menu. We operate across South Mumbai, Central Mumbai, and the Western Suburbs and are expanding our operations rapidly.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented MIS Executive –to manage daily sales, online aggregator analytics, accounts-related records, bank reconciliations & financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare, maintain, and analyze daily sales reports, POS billing data, and store performance metrics.

· Manage and reconcile online aggregator sales, payouts, commission statements, and platform disputes.

· Maintain and update the general ledger, accounting entries, and accounts-related records accurately.

· Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, invoices, receipts, and expense tracking.

· Perform regular bank statement, cash, card, and aggregator account reconciliations.

· Track inventory movements, food costs, stock variances, wastage, and kitchen consumption data.

· Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings, audits, and compliance activities.

· Coordinate with internal department heads, store managers, external vendors, and platform representatives.

· Prepare variance analysis,



custom dashboards, and daily operational/financial MIS reports for management.

· Support senior accountants, finance managers, and operational heads in budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

· 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, MIS reporting, or financial data management.

· Prior experience in the QSR, restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry is highly preferred.

· Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems) and POS platforms.

· Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, Dashboards) and MS Office tools.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles, ledger reconciliation, food cost analysis, and AP/AR.

· Excellent attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and analytical problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple reports simultaneously, and meet strict daily deadlines.

· Strong communication and coordination skills to interact across finance, operations, and external vendors.
