Mechanical Design Engineer - Power Transformer The opportunity

As a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Transformer Design at the Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India, youll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, diversity, and collaboration.

How youll make an impact

- The successful candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team heavily specialized in Power Transformers design covering different countries.

- Preparation of General Arrangement, fabrication drawings, Bill of materials and submission to customer as per project schedule.

- Will be part of a Global Engineering Centre team and your task is to contribute to the global design work with positive team atmosphere and networking.

- Responsible for development of transformer designs in coordination with global Hitachi Energy factory based on the purchase order requirement, ordering specification in different areas of transformer mechanical design.

- Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.





- Participation in internal design concept reviews.

- Demonstrated team building skills and networking skills, would be a preference.

- Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

Your Background

- Bachelors degree of Mechanical Engineering.

- 2 - 7 yearsexperience working in mechanical design for Power Transformers.

- Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.

Experience in order designs,

- Experience in Customer drawings fabrication drawings.

- Experience in Simulation or software development would be advantageous.

- Experience on Microsoft office and tools.

- Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

- Additional languages knowledge is considered an advantage.

- Quick learner with ability to master current areas

- Proficiency in both spoken written English language is required.
