We are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Kochi. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and enclosures for antenna, radome, and avionics systems, from concept development through detailed design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and production support.

The role involves creating and maintaining 3D CAD models, 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation. The engineer will perform engineering calculations, Finite Element Analysis for structural and thermal validation, Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis where applicable, and support product design optimization and performance validation. Knowledge of composite materials, composite structures, and manufacturing processes used in aerospace and defence applications will be an added advantage.

Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Design Engineering, Machine Design, and Product Development.
- Hands-on experience with 3D CAD software for part modeling, assembly design, sheet metal, surfacing, and preparation of manufacturing drawings.
- Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural, vibration, and thermal analysis, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to support product development and design validation.
- Ability to perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, material selection, and design validation.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, composites, additive manufacturing, and precision assembly.
- Knowledge of composite materials and composite manufacturing technologies used in aerospace and defence applications.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, technical specifications, industry standards, and design documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in aerospace, defence, avionics, RF systems, radome design, or precision mechanical product development will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates residing in Ernakulam are preferred.
