We’re looking for a technically strong Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop modular, foldable and rapidly deployable structures for rugged and mobile applications.
What You’ll Work On
- 3D CAD modelling, manufacturing drawings & BOMs
- Sheet-metal, frame/truss and mechanical assemblies
- Basic FEA, structural & kinematic checks
- Material, fastener and component selection
- Prototyping, fabrication and on-ground assembly
• Design optimisation for weight, modularity, strength and manufacturability
Ideal Candidate
Mechanical Engineering graduate with 2–5 years of relevant design experience , robust SolidWorks skills, Ansys knowledge, and a practical understanding of tolerances, fabrication and mechanical assemblies .
Experience with deployable shelters, trailers, industrial enclosures or similar structures
