Role Description This is a full-time, in office Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Anand.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for non-ferrous metallurgical equipment, including furnaces, heating systems, and inductors. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing detailed CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality,



and project engineering. The role involves optimizing designs for performance, reliability, manufacturability, and safety, as well as supporting prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, documentation, and adherence to relevant standards and quality procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with skills in Design Engineering and Machine Design.
- Proficiency in Product Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D and 3D modeling.
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems used in industrial or metallurgical equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications, and prepare clear technical documentation.
- Experience with thermal systems, furnaces, or industrial machinery design is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and safety.
- Willingness to work on-site in Anand and collaborate across engineering, production, and service teams.
