The candidate will be responsible for testing and validating embedded systems products to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are of the highest quality. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded systems (firmware + hardware).
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and stress testing on embedded products.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware development teams to understand product design and resolve defects.
- Set up and maintain test environments including hardware-in-loop (HIL) systems and simulators.
- Analyze logs and trace files to identify and isolate issues; document defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Conduct root cause analysis and suggest product improvements.
- Validate product against compliance requirements (e.g., safety, EMC, environmental standards).
- Mentor junior QA engineers and lead test strategy discussions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Qualification and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in embedded product testing
- Familiarity with requirements-based testing methodologies such as V-Model or Agile
- Experience with software testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar Experience with scripting in languages such as Python, C
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and software testing methodologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
