Manage and coordinate MEP design activities for real estate and building construction projects, covering Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems and ensuring coordinated, practical and code-compliant designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review MEP design drawings, layouts and design documentation.
- Design and/or coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and other building services.
- Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural drawings to ensure constructability and avoid clashes.
- Prepare BOQs, specifications, load calculations and other design documentation.
- Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project teams and site personnel for design requirements and execution.
- Conduct site visits to resolve design and execution issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, statutory requirements and project specifications.
- Identify design clashes and coordinate timely resolutions, preferably using AutoCAD.
- Lead and guide the design team and coordinate design deliverables with project schedules.
Preferred Age: 30 to 40 years. Managerial experience is preferred/required for the managerial role. AutoCAD proficiency is essential; an AutoCAD course is preferred.
Experience in real estate/building projects will be an advantage.
