Role & responsibilities The IT Audit & Compliance team is seeking a License Compliance Analyst to support software asset management (SAM) activities, with a focus on license compliance, optimization, and audit readiness. This role will be responsible for performing license reconciliation, developing Effective License Positions (ELPs), and supporting vendor audit and true-up activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform license compliance reviews, including reconciliation of entitlements vs. deployments

- Develop and maintain Effective License Position (ELP) reporting

- Support audit readiness, vendor inquiries, and true-up activities

- Identify and drive remediation of compliance risks and optimization opportunities

- Interpret software licensing terms and contracts (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP)

- Collaborate with Software Title Owners to ensure accurate license tracking and usage alignment

- Collect, validate, and reconcile data from tools such as Flexera, ServiceNow CMDB, and SCCM

- Maintain data integrity across SAM/ITAM systems and asset baselines

Required Qualifications





- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

- 4+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), ITAM, or license compliance

- Experience with license reconciliation, ELP development, and audit support

- Working knowledge of major vendor licensing models

- Experience with tools such as Flexera, ServiceNow, and SCCM
