Designation :- Learning & Development - Manager (Someone have Plant / Blue Coller Employee Training Experience)

Reporting To: Head HR / CHRO

Location: Mahape, Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai

No of Position:- 1

Working Days 6days (Only 2nd Saturday Off)

Job Purpose To develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development framework that enhances technical competencies, leadership capabilities, safety awareness, customer service excellence, and employee performance across all business functions including Sales, Installation, Maintenance, Modernization, Manufacturing, Projects, Stores, Quality, Finance, HR, and Administration. The role will establish a culture of continuous learning aligned with Escon Elevators' business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Strategy

- Develop the annual Learning & Development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Prepare the yearly training calendar for all departments.
- Conduct New Joinee Orientation and Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across locations.
- Create competency frameworks for all roles.
- Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for employees.

Technical Training
- Design technical certification programs for:

- Elevator Installation Engineers

- Maintenance Engineers

- Service Technicians
- Testing & Commissioning Teams

- Quality Inspectors

- Manufacturing Employees
- Coordinate training with OEMs, consultants, and internal Subject Matter Experts.
- Standardize technical training modules and SOP-based learning.

Induction & Onboarding
- Design structured induction programs for new employees.

- Conduct orientation on

- Company policies

- Products

- Safety standards

- Quality systems

- Customer service expectations
- Monitor onboarding effectiveness during the first 90 days.

Leadership Development
- Design leadership programs for:

- Supervisors

- Team Leaders





- Branch Managers

- Deliver classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training.
- Develop e-learning content and digital learning resources.
- Build internal trainer capability through a "Train the Trainer" program.

Learning Management
- Implement and administer a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Maintain training records, certifications, attendance, and compliance.
- Track mandatory training completion.

Evaluation & Reporting
- Measure training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and business outcomes.
- Publish monthly and quarterly L&D; dashboards covering:

- Training hours

- Participation

- Technical certifications

- Compliance
- Skill-gap closure

- ROI on training
- Present reports to senior management.

Compliance & Safety
- Ensure statutory and mandatory training completion.
- Coordinate safety programs for factory, installation, and maintenance teams.
- Promote a solid safety culture across all locations.

Educational Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources
- Certification in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or Training (preferred)
