Position: L4 Desktop & Laptop Engineer Department: Technical Support / Service Location: Delhi Experience: 5 Years Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month Employment Type: Full-Time Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced L4 Desktop & Laptop Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in chip-level repair, motherboard troubleshooting, and BIOS programming . The candidate will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, handling customer technical queries, and providing on-site support whenever required. Key ResponsibilitiesHandle L4-level troubleshooting and repair of laptops, desktops, workstations, and related hardware.

Perform chip-level diagnosis and motherboard repair . Diagnose and repair motherboard-level issues involving ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, charging circuits, power circuits, display circuits, USB ports, etc. Perform BIOS programming, flashing, recovery, and troubleshooting .

Identify root causes of complex hardware failures and provide appropriate repair solutions. Handle escalated technical complaints from customers and internal service teams. Communicate directly with customers to understand technical issues and provide suitable solutions.

Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting whenever possible. Conduct customer/site visits whenever required for diagnosis, repair, installation, troubleshooting, or technical support. Support L1/L2 engineers in resolving complex technical issues.

Maintain records of repairs, replaced components, technical findings, and case closures. Coordinate with internal teams for RMA, replacement, warranty, and service-related cases.



Ensure technical complaints are resolved within the defined TAT.

Identify recurring technical issues and suggest corrective/preventive measures.

Technical Skills

RequiredStrong hands-on experience in chip-level laptop and desktop motherboard repair . Practical knowledge of BIOS programming and BIOS recovery . Good knowledge of SMD components and motherboard-level troubleshooting.

Ability to use multimeter, DC power supply, soldering station, hot-air station, BIOS programmer , and other repair equipment. Knowledge of motherboard schematics and boardview files will be an added advantage. Valuable understanding of Windows, drivers, firmware, hardware diagnostics, and system configuration.

Ability to independently diagnose and repair complex hardware problems.

Customer

HandlingGood communication and customer-handling skills. Ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to customers. Comfortable handling customer calls and technical escalations. Willingness to travel for site visits whenever required . Should have a professional, responsible, and solution-oriented approach.

Candidate

ProfileMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in laptop/desktop repair or technical service. Chip-level repair experience is mandatory. BIOS programming experience is mandatory.

Experience handling corporate/enterprise customers will be an advantage. Should be capable of independently handling complex technical escalations. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Should be willing to travel for customer/site visits as and when required.
