Designation- Junior Consultant/ Associate Consultant- Breast Onco Surgeon

Responsibilities

- Diagnosis: Perform biopsies and tissue sampling to evaluate suspicious lumps and confirm cancer.
- Surgical Treatment: Perform lumpectomies (breast-conserving surgery) and mastectomies (partial or total removal) to eliminate tumors.
- Lymph Node Evaluation: Perform sentinel lymph node biopsies or axillary dissections to stage the disease.
- Oncoplastic Procedures: Combine tumor removal with aesthetic reconstruction techniques or coordinate with plastic surgeons.
- Risk Reduction: Perform preventive or prophylactic surgeries for high-risk patients with genetic mutations like BRCA1 or BRCA2.
- Multidisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with medical oncologists,



radiation oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists to design complete treatment plans.
- Post-Operative Care: Monitor recovery, manage surgical complications, and guide patients through ongoing survivorship.

Qualifications

- MS/ DNB General Surgery+ Fellowship in Breast Onco Surgery

Experience

- 0 to 2 years of experience post-qualification
