Role & Responsibilities

- Lead and guide the Industrial Design team and manage the overall design function.

- Handle multiple design projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.

- Understand client requirements and convert them into creative and practical product design concepts.

- Work closely with product, engineering and marketing teams to deliver the required designs.

- Manage the development of prototypes and mock-ups and improve designs based on feedback.

- Communicate with clients, understand their requirements and maintain good working relationships.

- Ensure design quality and maintain consistent design standards across projects.

- Keep the team updated on the latest design trends, materials, technologies and industry developments.

- Maintain proper project documentation and regularly update the Studio Head on project progress.

- Take complete ownership of assigned projects and ensure smooth execution.





Preferred Candidate Profile

- M.Des in Product Design / Industrial Design from a reputed design institute.

- 5-8 years of experience in Industrial/Product Design, preferably in a design consultancy or corporate environment.

- Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks and 3D design software.

- Good knowledge of plastics, manufacturing processes and prototyping.

- Strong understanding of product design and design development.

- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of designers.

- Good project management and time-management skills.

- Solid communication and client-handling skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

- Creative, proactive and good at solving design-related problems.
