Summary /Purpose of the role

- To manage and lead the steel foundry to meet expectations of AOP and ensure consistent and reliable quality of casting as per laid down processes and systems in the most cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

- On time execution of production activities in Heavy CI & SG foundry
- Ensure process adherence to ensure consistent and stable quality of castings

- Achieve target levels of rejection and rework
- Execute casting rework, repair and upgradation on priority
- Interaction with supply chain & customer for smooth execution of the activities

- Management of inventory and control
- Conduct trials to meet recent developments targets and deadlines
- Improvement in performance parameters
- To cater urgencies & Team Handling.

- Interaction with supporting departments & other foundries.
- Training & development of subordinates
- Undergo system and process audits
- Cost control
- Implement TPM across steel foundry

- Explore and execute upgradation of technology

Mandatory Skill sets: CI & SG Grade, Alpha set moulding. Sand casting, Core shop, Melting, Methoding etc
