Role & responsibilities

- Provide pre-test and post-test counselling to clients as per ICTC guidelines.

- Counsel patients on HIV/AIDS prevention, transmission, testing, and treatment.

- Provide psychosocial support while maintaining strict confidentiality.

- Facilitate referrals and linkages with ART centres and other healthcare services.

- Maintain counselling records, registers, MIS, and required reports.

- Coordinate with medical, laboratory, and healthcare teams for effective patient support.

Preferred candidate profile

- Relevant experience in HIV/AIDS counselling, ICTC, ART Centre, or NACO programs preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Robust counselling, documentation, and patient-handling skills.

- Ability to work with sensitivity and maintain confidentiality.
