Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, deploy, and support integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
- Develop and maintain integration flows involving APIs, messaging, data transformation, and event-driven communication.
- Work extensively with IBM MQ, including queue/channel configuration, validation, connectivity, and migration activities.
- Analyze MQ requirements and collect queue, channel, connection, and access details required for integration setup.
- Coordinate MQ access/setup requests and ensure required queues and channels are available.
- Handle integration connectivity with AKS/OCP (OpenShift Container Platform) environments.
- Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams for file-share, FTP, firewall, network, and service-account connectivity.
- Configure and validate FTP connectivity and credentials in OCP environments.
- Perform production deployment validation, including flow deployment, flow status, server availability, and data validation.
- Validate that all required ACE/IIB flows are deployed and active across the appropriate production servers.
- Analyze and troubleshoot integration issues related to messaging, connectivity, data transformation, deployment, and runtime failures.
- Coordinate code migration and deployment requests, ensuring correct server/environment details are provided.
- Validate queue names and configuration during migration and resolve discrepancies between environments.
- Participate in testing, deployment, release management, and post-deployment validation activities.
- Follow CI/CD practices for integration development and deployment.
- Work closely with developers, DevOps, infrastructure, QA, application teams, and business stakeholders.
- Communicate technical issues, dependencies, risks,



and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure activities are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to integration flows, configurations, connectivity, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for an experienced IBM ACE Developer / Integration Lead with 3-11 years of experience who can independently handle integration development, deployment, troubleshooting, and technical coordination.

Must-Have Skills

- 3-11 years of overall IT experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- IBM App Connect Enterprise (IBM ACE)

- IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
- IBM MQ / WebSphere MQ

- Positive understanding of

- Event-driven architecture
- Experience developing and supporting ACE/IIB integration flows

- Experience working with OCP/OpenShift and/or AKS/Kubernetes environments
- Exposure to FTP, file shares, firewall/network connectivity, and service-account configuration
- Good understanding of testing, release, migration, and deployment processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs
- Experience with JSON/XML data transformation
- Exposure to Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale integration platforms
- Production incident management and root-cause analysis
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Experience leading or mentoring junior ACE/IIB developers
