Role & responsibilities will lead and oversee all quality assurance activities within the stamping manufacturing process. This includes ensuring that all products and processes meet the required quality standards, compliance regulations, and customer specifications. will work closely with the production, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement in quality performance while managing a team of quality engineers and technicians.
- Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with industry standards (ISO 9001, EHS 14001-45001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 etc.).
- Ensure adherence to quality policies and procedures across all stamping processes, from raw material sourcing to finished product.
- Lead internal and external audits and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Oversee the quality inspection and testing of stamping components and assemblies, ensuring products meet customer and regulatory specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify quality issues and implement solutions in real-time.
- Monitor product quality during production runs and assist in troubleshooting process or product-related issues.
Preferred candidate profile . BE/BTECH (MECH)/PROD with min 20-28 years exp in QMS/ Quality/ QA/ QC/ product Quality / process Quality /product Quality / Manufacturing / supplier quality / stamping industry
- In-depth knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, 8D, and root cause analysis.
