Job Summary The Head & Operations will be responsible for leading and managing PAN India O&M; operations and projects, ensuring operational excellence, project profitability, SLA compliance, asset and manpower productivity, customer satisfaction, and timely project execution.

The role will provide overall leadership from project handover and mobilization through operational stabilization and ongoing service delivery, with strong focus on fleet management, manpower optimization, cost control, compliance, safety, technology-enabled monitoring, and continuous improvement.

The position will have a robust focus on fleet productivity, vehicle utilization, fuel efficiency, manpower optimization, preventive maintenance, project profitability, SLA compliance, operational analytics, and continuous improvement. Additionally, the Head & O&M; Operations / Projects will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening inter-departmental coordination, implementing SOPs, enhancing reporting and control systems, supporting tenders and new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Project Management

- Lead end-to-end O&M; operations across PAN India projects.
- Ensure timely project mobilization, deployment, commissioning, and operational stabilization.
- Develop project plans, resource requirements, execution schedules, and operational controls.
- Drive productivity, service quality, SLA achievement, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective coordination between Operations, HR, Finance, SCM, Factory, Dispatch, Commercial, and Sales.

2. Fleet & Asset Management

- Ensure optimum availability and utilization of vehicles, equipment, and other assets.
- Monitor vehicle productivity, operating hours, downtime, fuel consumption, GPS tracking, and maintenance costs.
- Drive preventive maintenance, breakdown reduction, fuel efficiency, and critical-spares management.
- Ensure statutory readiness including registration, insurance, fitness, permits,



and other applicable requirements.

3. Manpower & Productivity

- Optimize manpower deployment based on project requirements, shifts, workload, and contractual norms.
- Monitor manpower productivity, absenteeism, overtime, idle manpower, and deployment efficiency.
- Establish productivity benchmarks and drive performance improvement across locations.

4. Client, SLA & Stakeholder Management

- Manage key client relationships and operational reviews.
- Ensure achievement of contractual SLAs, KPIs, and deliverables.
- Lead resolution of client complaints, operational escalations, and critical issues.
- Coordinate with government, municipal, statutory, and other external stakeholders as required.

5. Financial & Commercial Management

- Monitor project-wise revenue, operating costs, contribution margins, and profitability.
- Drive cost optimization across manpower, fuel, maintenance, logistics, subcontracting, and other operating expenses.
- Identify cost leakages, penalties, revenue risks, and financial exposures.
- Coordinate with Finance/Commercial teams for billing, collections, recoveries, and working-capital requirements.

6. Compliance, Safety & Governance

- Ensure statutory, contractual, safety, environmental, and organizational compliance across projects.
- Implement SOPs, audit controls, risk-management systems, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor incidents, near misses, audit observations, an
- Establish effective governance, escalation, and review mechanisms.

7. MIS, KPI & Technology

- Establish centralized MIS and performance dashboards for PAN India operations.
- Monitor KPIs covering operations, fleet, manpower, financial performance, safety, compliance, and customer service.
- Drive implementation of GPS, control-room monitoring, automation, digital reporting, and operational analytics.
- Ensure data-driven decision-making and timely corrective actions.

Tender & Business Support

- Provide operational and commercial inputs for O&M; tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and new business opportunities.
- Support project costing, manpower/fleet planning, execution methodology, and risk assessment.
- Identify opportunities for project extensions, additional services, and business expansion.

Educational Qualification Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Operations / Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

MBA/PGDM in Operations, Project Management, or Business Management will be preferred.

Preferred Experience

18Years -22 years of relevant experience in O&M;, Municipal operations, fleet management, industrial operations, emergency services, or asset-intensive businesses, with proven experience managing large-scale, multi-location operations and manpower.
