About the Role

Damani Dyestuff Limited is hiring a Head of Labour & Site Supervision to be the daily link between our business and the contractors and supervisors executing work at client and application project sites. This is a hands-on coordination and field role equal parts daily phone follow-up and in-person site visits — for someone who can keep multiple sites moving, catch problems early, and build a real working relationship with the project managers and contractors on the ground.

What You'll Do

- Call site supervisors and contractors every day to check progress against plan, flag delays early, and keep work moving without waiting for problems to surface on their own.

- Visit client and application project sites regularly to meet project managers in person, understand ground realities, and align on what needs to happen next.

- Maintain a running, accurate view of every active site — what's on schedule, what's slipping, and why — so leadership always has a explicit picture without having to ask.

- Coordinate between contractors, supervisors, and internal teams so manpower, material, and timelines stay aligned across sites.

- Spot and help resolve issues before they affect delivery — labour shortages, contractor delays,



quality concerns, or gaps in coordination between parties.

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, supervisors, and project managers, so communication stays open and problems get raised early rather than late.

- Report site status, risks, and key issues back to leadership on a regular cadence.

What We're Looking For

- Prior experience supervising or coordinating labour, contractors, or site execution — construction, project execution, facilities management, or a similarly field-heavy role.

- Comfortable being on the phone daily and on the road regularly — this is not a desk-only role.

- Strong follow-up discipline — someone who chases things down rather than waiting to be told there's a problem.

- Able to talk to people at every level, from a site supervisor to a project manager, and come away from the conversation with a straight answer.

- Based in or willing to be based in Mumbai, with willingness to travel to project sites regularly.

- Fluency in Hindi and/or Marathi alongside English, given daily contractor and supervisor communication on the ground.
