Srikara Hospitals is looking for a qualified and experienced General Surgeon to join our medical team.

General Surgeon / Consultant General Surgeon

Qualification

- MBBS with MS/DNB – General Surgery - Valid Medical Council registration

Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant surgical experience preferred - Candidates with strong operative and patient-management skills will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and manage patients requiring surgical intervention. - Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures. - Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative management. - Attend OP, IP and emergency surgical cases. - Perform regular patient rounds and monitor recovery. - Coordinate with Anesthesia, ICU, Nursing, Radiology and other clinical departments. - Maintain accurate surgical records, operative notes and discharge documentation. - Ensure adherence to OT protocols, infection-control standards and patient-safety guidelines.



- Provide appropriate counselling to patients and attendants regarding surgical procedures and follow-up care. - Participate in clinical audits, departmental meetings and quality-improvement activities.

- Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills - Good emergency-management capabilities - Effective communication and patient counselling skills - Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams - Skilled and ethical approach to patient care
